Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a field sales professional with deep expertise in Neurovascular products. Qualifications

  • Experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • 2+ years in medical or hospital service-line function, medical sales.
  • Experience in an office or hospital-based operating room or cath lab setting.

  • Partner with field sales and clinical teams as a market resource.
  • Drive sales, cover cases, lead in-service activities, and support business expansion and growth.
  • Support specific territories and business initiatives alongside Territory Managers.

Job description

  • Partner with field sales and clinical teams as a market resource
  • Drive sales, cover cases, lead in-service activities, and support business expansion and growth
  • Support specific territories and business initiatives alongside Territory Managers
  • Work outside primary territory assignments when required by business conditions
  • Promote and sell Medtronic Neurovascular products and services within assigned geographic areas or customer accounts
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services
  • Identify selling opportunities and collaborate with sales representatives to increase account sales
  • Provide clinical and technical support during cases and inform clinicians about patient treatment options
  • Promote education of company products and services
  • Execute company sales strategy and manage the sales process
  • Interface with hospital personnel to promote and sell Medtronic products
  • Train medical personnel in product use
  • Respond to inquiries and complaints
  • Identify target accounts
  • Analyze and report on sales-technique effectiveness
  • Participate in on-call nights and weekends 20–40% of the time
  • Report directly to the District Manager
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience
  • OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years experience
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • 2+ years in medical or hospital service-line function, medical sales
  • Experience in an office or hospital-based operating room or cath lab setting
  • Clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response
  • Experience in medical device sales focused heavily on interventional stroke procedures
  • Proven track record of results in medical sales and training
  • Experience selling medical devices in Neurovascular space
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
  • Driving record will be reviewed as part of the application
  • Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and potentially travel overnight
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
