• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Military electronics or electrical training will be considered equivalent.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial retread equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Train dealer personnel on operation and maintenance of major retread equipment.
• Manage plant installation and modification projects end-to-end with external contractors.
• Conduct audits and analyze production data to drive quality and KPI improvements.

This exciting technical role provides hands-on experience with industrial retread equipment and requires travel throughout the assigned territory. Training will require each new teammate to spend several months in Muscatine, IA and occasionally in the field with another TSR, returning home on weekends. This person will also receive a company credit card, a cell phone allowance, an internet allowance, and 4 weeks of PTO annually. During the training period, travel is expected to range between 50% and 75%. A company vehicle is provided after training is complete.Preferred Location: within an hour commute or so from Orlando, FloridaResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesYou will focus on ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and quality for our Bandag Dealer Franchise locations by providing technical expertise, training, and project management.1. Equipment Service and UptimeInstall, troubleshoot, and repair complex industrial retread equipment (electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems).Perform routine equipment calibrations and install hardware/software kits.Train dealer personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of all major retread equipment to maximize service life and productivity.2. Plant Installation and ModificationManage plant installation and modification projects from initiation to completion, including equipment, beam, and monorail systems.Coordinate and meet with external contractors to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.3. Quality and Operational ExcellenceConduct Bandag Systems Audits and UPS Audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and franchise agreements.Analyze plant production data, identify productivity constraints, and develop action plans to drive operational improvements and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).4.
