Job summary

Golden Touch seeks an Associate Technical Designer to support development of children's apparel. You will create and maintain development tech packs, establish specifications, and support fit, construction, and quality standards throughout product development.

The ideal candidate has strong technical design skills, knowledge of garment construction and fit, and excellent communication. Experience with PLM, Browzwear 3D, and Walmart programs is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in Technical Design, Patternmaking, Product Development, or related apparel field.
• Experience developing technical packages, specs, and garment construction details.
• Strong understanding of apparel fit, balance, grading, patternmaking and construction.
• Experience with children's apparel preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Browzwear 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute the technical design process, creating worksheets and tech packs for costing and proto samples.
• Measure original garments and reference samples to translate into fit and sizing standards.
• Ensure specifications reflect design intent and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Technical Design to translate concepts into tech packs.
• Communicate development details to overseas offices, factories, and vendors.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Work in 3D adjusting patterns based on feedback.
