Job summary

Insight Enterprises in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Apprentice Technician for an onsite role. The position runs 10:30am - 7:00pm and pays $20 per hour. You will complete lab orders, verify parts, and process ERP packing and shipping tasks, while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and strong organizational skills, with basic computer OS knowledge and willingness to learn SAP and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete lab orders within the normal shift schedule.
• Verify/Count all parts and quantities before placing on bench.
• Unpack orders from ERP system and document tracking information.
• Ship items with proper label application and record-keeping.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety policies.

Understand and comply with all Insight ISO Policies and Procedures. Follow and sign off on work instructions once work effort is complete. Submit signed work instructions to their manager. Each person is accountable for meeting and\\or exceeding individual team goals.Along the way, you will get to:Verify/Count all parts and QTYs listed on each pick list order before placing on the bench.Continuously check ERP system to systematically unpack the order.Follow work instructions to completion.Notify their manager immediately of any non-conforming product and\\or discrepancies in work instructions.Responsible for shipping label creation and application to packaging.Close out orders by recording order tracking information and other pertinent information in the system.Maintain cleanliness of work area.Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditionsNotify manager once work is complete to be assigned next tasks.Perform other duties as assigned.Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow.
