Job summary

Insight is seeking an Associate Technician for our Fort Worth, TX office. This fully onsite role supports lab orders and packaging, with a 6:00am - 2:30pm shift and a $20/hour starting pay.

You will verify parts, follow ISO policies, and help meet team goals while maintaining safety and organization in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a high-volume production environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time management.
• Respond effectively to inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Basic understanding of computer operating systems.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Able to adhere to SLA requirements.
• Willingness to learn on the go.

Responsibilities

• Verify/Count all parts and QTYs listed on each pick list before placing on the bench.
• Continuously check ERP system to unpack the order.
• Follow work instructions to completion.
• Notify manager immediately of any non-conforming product or discrepancies in work instructions.
• Responsible for shipping label creation and application to packaging.
• Close out orders by recording tracking information in the system.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Adhere to safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
• Notify manager when work is complete to receive next tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the role

Complete all lab orders assigned within the normal shift schedule. Understand and comply with all Insight ISO Policies and Procedures. Follow and sign off on work instructions once work effort is complete. Submit signed work instructions to their manager. Each person is accountable for meeting and\or exceeding individual team goals.

Along the way, you will get to:

What we’re looking for

• High School Education or equivalent.
• The ability to work in a high-volume production environment
• Must have the ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills
• Must be able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion
• A basic understanding of computer operating systems.
• Must possess good problem-solving skills
• Knowledge SAP preferred
• Ability to adhere to tight (SLA) Service Level Agreements.
• Willingness to learn on the go.
