Job summary

Educare of Omaha, Inc. is seeking an Associate Teacher (Early Childhood Education) to join Kellom Educare in Omaha, NE.

This full-time position involves collaborating with Lead Teachers to deliver an evidence-based program for children ages 0-5, following Head Start and Nebraska licensing standards. Responsibilities include planning lessons, tracking child development, documenting progress, and engaging with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Associate’s Degree in a related field may be acceptable.
• A CDA (Child Development Associate) Certification will be required to be attained.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and document each child’s health, skills, behavior, growth and development.
• Develop individualized lesson plans for each child and coordinate referrals when needed.
• Maintain an attractive, safe and healthy classroom environment with supervision.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Engage with parents to build effective partnerships and communicate progress.
