Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a software engineer to support planning and execution of development tasks, including detailed software design, coding, and comprehensive testing across unit, integration, functional, and system levels.

You will develop and sustain new and existing applications, troubleshoot issues, present releases to customers and stakeholders, analyze high level requirements, and contribute to future system architecture within a cloud-based, multi-tiered, consumer-facing

Qualifications

• Must hold active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance or equivalent.
• Experience analyzing data and identifying requirements with customers.
• Experience in systems engineering, architecture development, and systems integration.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations to customers.
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices including standups, user stories and sprints.

Responsibilities

• Support and plan software development tasks including detailed software design and testing at multiple levels.
• Develop and sustain new and existing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Present and report to customers and stakeholders.
• Brief software designs and demonstrate release functionality to customers and end users.
• Analyze customer requirements to derive lower-level functional requirements.
• Contribute to distributed components aligned with future system architecture.
• Support an agile software program for the national intelligence community.
• Work on a cloud-based, multi-tiered system with consumer-facing web applications.
