Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Systems (T01) or Engineer Systems (T02) to join the Product Support organization in California. You will perform engineering analyses across the lifecycle, analyze performance data, and drive reliability improvements through data-driven recommendations.

The role requires STEM degrees by Aug 2027, U.S. citizenship for clearance, and may involve relocation assistance and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM by Aug 2027.
• Master’s degree by Aug 2027 or Bachelor’s plus 2 years of systems engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform system engineering analyses across the full lifecycle (concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, disposal).
• Analyze performance data to identify failure modes, validate data integrity, and propose data-driven recommendations.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Develop and implement support solutions to enhance system reliability and lifecycle performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product support teams on Reliability & Maintainability and related areas.
• Interpret drawings, review technical data, and support testing to meet requirements.
