Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineering, Associate to support software-intensive systems for national defense projects in our St. Louis, MO office. The target start date is Summer 2027 after obtaining the required TS/SCI with poly security clearance.

You will collaborate in an Agile software development environment, supporting design, development, testing, and documentation across cybersecurity, satellite ground systems, cloud, and networking domains.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/SE/EE or related field.
• 0–2 years of relative experience; grads welcome.
• Familiarity with Java, C++, Perl, Bash.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for design, development, and testing of advanced tech solutions.
• Work in an Agile software development environment to shape project direction.
• Support the software engineering lifecycle including requirements, design, testing, and documentation.
• Perform data collection/analysis and make recommendations to the customer.
• Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical measures.
