Job summary

Talent Groups seeks an experienced Windows Server Administrator to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include install/upgrade/configuration/tuning of Windows Server, data storage and backups, and documenting system configurations.

Additionally, you will deploy patches, manage licenses, and provide Tier 2 support for global infrastructure, ensuring documentation and SOPs are followed.

Qualifications

Job description

• Performs Windows Server administration to include install, upgrades, configuration, tuning and monitoring.
• Maintains the data storage system and performs system back-ups.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
• Assesses tests, deploys and properly documents all software patches, updates, and new software installations into the IT infrastructure, following all relevant SOPs, WPDs and internal processes.
• Manages and maintains system administration tools to include asset inventory, remote access, software license management, server diagnostics and virtualization technology.
• Provides system engineering consulting and application support to other IT groups and projects.
• Provides tier 2 level troubleshooting and support for all infrastructure platforms globally.
