Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC, is seeking a Logistics Planner within our Emerging Technologies - Solid Dosage Forms US facility. The role focuses on coordinating logistic flows and optimizing production planning in collaboration with planning functions.

You will proactively identify issues affecting material and production scheduling, work with suppliers and internal teams to optimize plans, and oversee material availability to production to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1 year of experience in supply chain planning or related area preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excel and electronic material management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, challenge and ensure execution of operational planning with planning functions.
• Identify and respond to issues affecting raw material, production planning or supply chain.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize schedules and production plans.
• Support shipment of finished products to external customers per order dates or inventory policies.
• Ensure material availability to production through purchasing planning and release flows.
• Monitor, analyze and report on supply chain KPIs and implement LEAN across the plant.
