As a Manager, Associate Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing certain IT and Telecom categories.It entails managing supplier relationships, conducting sourcing events, enforcing compliance, and identifying and realizing cost savings opportunities.
What you'll do:
Perform sourcing activities for IT and Telecom to include:
Establish and maintain constructive supplier relationships
Spend analysis
Lead cross-functional teams in developing company standards and policies on various categories under management
Perform market analysis
Responsible for program improvement and acquisition cost reduction
Develop category sourcing strategies
Perform RFIs, RFPs and reverse auctions
Negotiate contracts including Master Agreements, Scopes of Work, and Software orders and renewals.
Manage contract review process and execution process, in consultation with business stakeholders, legal counsel, and indirect sourcing manager.
Calculate negotiated and realized savings based upon approved methodology
Develop and execute implementation, communication and compliance plans
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in related field such as Finance, Management, Operations/Purchasing or Accounting
3-5 years of strategic sourcing or purchasing experience
CPSM/CPSD/CPM certifications or equivalent is desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong computer (Excel) skills
Ability to work independently
Occasional travel at 10-15%.
