Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks an Associate Staff member to advance systems engineering across health and performance domains, including neurocognitive and medical operation systems. You will develop models and simulations, work with stakeholders to capture constraints, and help design prototyping and field-testing of health and performance platforms.

The role emphasizes MBSE, architecture development, and rigorous verification/validation while collaborating across disciplines to address

Qualifications

MS in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of systems engineering experience accepted in lieu of MS.
Strong scientific writing and ability to present concepts to varied audiences.
Experience scoping and supporting multiple prototype and R&D programs.
Ability to apply MBSE concepts to mission-critical health and performance gaps.

Responsibilities

Support systems engineering across a broad technology portfolio to meet stakeholder needs.
Lead architecture development for human physiological, cognitive, and performance monitoring systems.
Develop models and simulations in coordination with stakeholder communities for field scenarios.
Plan, lead verification and validation activities and assess risks with mitigation plans.
