Job summary

Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed digital manufacturing marketplace, seeks an Associate Solutions Engineer in the Los Angeles area. You will play a foundational role, supporting internal teams and customers by coordinating technical documentation, quotes, and manufacturing solutions.

Bring a bachelor’s in engineering, familiarity with CAD and manufacturing processes, and the drive to learn the industry. This is a ground-floor role with exposure to sales, operations, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mechanical/ manufacturing related field is required or equivalent.
• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC, additive manufacturing, sheet metal and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support quoting, BOMs, RFQs, and specifications for customer programs.
• Assist cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents through the solution lifecycle.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to bridge engineering, sales and operations.
• Lead capstone project to improve process efficiency, such as automation or dashboards.
• Build and demonstrate DFx knowledge for manufacturing disciplines.
