Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a software development support professional to contribute to Linux/Windows desktop applications used in military mission systems and image processing. Applicants pursuing or having completed a Bachelors in CS or EE will fit well, with experience in Linux/Windows environments and OO design.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or recently completed within the past 12 months.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or VBe for software development support.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows application environments.
• Background in Object-Oriented Design and Analysis is a plus.
• GUI design and development experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the software lifecycle process is beneficial.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a strong plus.
• Containerization knowledge, including Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.
• GPU development experience, such as CUDA, is desirable.
• May require ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Applicants must meet eligibility for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship may be required for certain clearances.
