L3Harris Technologies in Herndon, VA is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to support Linux and Windows applications, including military mission systems and image processing tools. You will develop software, assist with hardware interfaces, and demonstrate ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications include pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering within the last 12 months; experience in C, C++, VC++, Java and Windows OS, and the ability to obtain DoD

Job Description:

• Be responsible for software development support for Linux and/or Windows applications.
• Applications are primarily military mission systems or image processing desktop applications.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field orhave completed theirBachelor’sdegree within the last 12months,regardlessof age.

Preferred Skills:

• Software development/maintenance experience.
• C, C++, VC++ and/or Java experience
• Window OS experience.
• Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California,Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $97,000 -$116,400. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, NewYork state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $84,500 - $101,400. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
