Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Software Engineer Specialist to develop software for military mission systems on Linux/Windows platforms. You will contribute to image processing and hardware communications interfacing, while delivering robust, secure software with ownership and pride.

The role requires strong C/C++/Rust skills, knowledge of modern design patterns, and a willingness to relocate to the Tulsa area. Security clearance eligibility is expected for this order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• 4 years of software development experience; DoD security clearance eligibility required.
• Experience in C, C++, and/or Rust; Linux OS experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Tulsa, OK.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Image processing experience a plus; hardware communications interfacing experience a plus.

• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
• Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred), with 4 years of experience or a Master's degree with 2 years prior related experience.
• Software development/maintenance experience.

• Linux OS experience.
• Applicant must have a willingness to relocate to the Tulsa, OK area.
• Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
