Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Florida is seeking a software engineer to support development for Linux and Windows applications used in military mission systems and image processing desktops.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in CS or EE, with experience in C/C++, OO design, and modern software practices. Familiarity with CUDA and container tech like Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or recently completed within the last 12 months.
• Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows software development.
• Familiarity with C, C++, or VC++.
• Background in object-oriented design and analysis.
• GUI design and development experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Experience with software lifecycle processes.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
• CUDA GPU development experience is a plus.
• Containerization experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
