Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking an Associate Software Engineer for the Richmond, VA area. The role focuses on building modern web applications and tools powering our real estate platforms.

You will work with React, Vue, Angular, Typescript, .NET, SQL, and cloud ecosystems while gaining hands‑on experience and mentorship in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule (in office Mon–Thu with Friday optional work from home) and is designed for early‑career developers to grow

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable major.
Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
At least 2 months of internship or co‑op experience.
Ability to discuss prior project work including problems and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Develop automated tests and contribute to design discussions as part of cross‑functional teams.
