Job summary

Pluribus Digital is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to design, development, testing, and maintenance of software for public-sector customers.

You will work with engineers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver features with independence and collaborate in agile environments. A technical degree and 2+ years of experience are expected, with opportunities to grow in cloud-native environments and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining software applications.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support customer and business objectives.
• Implement features and enhancements with limited supervision.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
• Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge of modern development practices.
