Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an entry-level Associate Software Engineer to join a fast-moving, collaborative Agile team. You will plan, design, develop and test software for enhancements and new products, including cloud-based tools.

You will work with senior engineers, follow AV development processes, and contribute to design reviews while delivering quality code and tests in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in Windows or Linux application software development; object oriented design is a must; Qt is a plus.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, Java, C++, and/or Web UI; familiarity with source code management tools like SVN and Git.

Responsibilities

• Work within a defined software life cycle development process.
• Support full life-cycle of product including design, coding, debugging, test, deployment and maintenance.
• Write quality, modular, reusable, testable code and unit tests.
