Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, seeks an Associate Software Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio location. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with product partners to translate requirements into technical solutions that support operational stability and strong customer experiences.

The role emphasizes C# OO development, relational databases, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent work experience.
1–3 years of experience with OO programming, preferably C#.
Experience with relational databases, SQL querying and optimization.
Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD and collaboration with operations.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and enhance software to ensure operational stability and business continuity.
Deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for consistent experiences.
Participate in full software development lifecycle from concept to post-launch support.
Translate requirements from product partners into technical specifications aligning with standards.
Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards.
