Job summary

Electronic Arts seeks a technically curious Software Engineer Intern to join the Enterprise Engineering Team in Austin. The role focuses on applying AI and automation to data engineering workflows, building AI-powered tools, and accelerating product improvement, reporting to a Technical Director.

You will work with experienced engineers to develop AI workflows using OpenAI, LangChain, and other frameworks, while gaining exposure to data pipelines and analytics within the CT - Data & Insights

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Programming skills in Python (experience with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain).
• Familiarity with MCP, LLM, and cloud platforms.
• You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2027.

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Hugging Face) to develop AI workflows, integrations, and data efficiencies.
• Develop AI solutions or scripts that boost productivity in software development, data management, or analytics.
• Analyze data and engineering workflows to identify optimization opportunities using LLMs, GenAI, or ML tools/models.
• Research new AI frameworks and tools for enterprise or team use. Create clear documentation of experiments, results, and implementation steps to help scale AI adoption internally.
• Work with engineers and team to measure gains and drive impact
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams on real-world projects involving engineering efficiencies analytics, data pipelines, and systems.
