About the Role

The Associate Manager, e-Commerce Site Operations is responsible for overall site operations, including implementation of seasonal site content, testing & validating web site and mobile app releases, and works with the site manager and senior site manager, as well other cross-functional partners to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards. Works with site manager on special projects related to: operational improvements, site partnerships and comprehensive testing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day and long-term maintenance of the website including launch and set-up issues
  • Proactively review the site with a customer-first mindset, identifying operational and customer experience problems, while suggesting and delivering on solutions
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines and provides feedback ensuring deliverables align with project goals
  • Assist in the development of documentation for digital experience SOPs and best practices across functions for the team
  • Responsible for daily QA of onsite product launch and end to end customer experiences, focusing on key site funnels
  • Coordinate and administer ongoing testing for each project release and major site launches.
  • Participate in site feature research, testing, and implementation
  • Troubleshoot website errors and take the lead on quality assurance projects
  • Manage implementation of project releases, interfacing with cross-functional teams to ensure on time and on budget completion of project releases.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with partners, and internal department teams.
  • Acts as site operations manager and fills in for Pottery Barn Kids site manager, or senior site manager when necessary.

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Web Development, or related qualification preferred.
  • One to two years experience in project management role and/or eCommerce experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated ability to work with various teams
  • Proven business skills and demonstrated ability to understand technology, including website development processes and project management as a discipline.
  • Superb communication skills and can easily break down complex topics to smaller, more digestible pieces
  • Excellent project and time management skills. Highly adaptable and capable of balancing multiple deliverables at once.
  • Evening and weekend hours required.
  • This role requires being onsite in San Francisco Monday - Thursday with option to be remote on Friday

The expected starting pay range for this position is $78,500 - $92,250 Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
