Job summary

California-Hydronics-Corporation seeks an Associate Service Technician to perform start-ups, tuning, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC and plumbing systems in the field.

You will verify setups, program per manuals, troubleshoot BMS interfaces, and work with 480V wiring while maintaining the company vehicle and tools. Travel and overtime are required as needed, with a focus on safety and customer training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial HVAC, plumbing, boiler, or pumping experience.
• EPA 608 License (Type II or Universal) required.
• Proficient with tablets, laptops, diagnostic tools, and Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when needed; overtime may be required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-ups, troubleshooting, tuning, and warranty repairs on CHC product lines.
• Verify equipment setup and programming per manufacturer manuals.
• Set up and troubleshoot communication interfaces with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Measure voltage up to 480V and wire between electrical panels and equipment.
• Provide operational guidance and training to customers and maintenance staff.
• Maintain provided company vehicle and manage truck tool inventory.

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Field-Based)

Location:

Field Operations - Tukwila, WA (travel required as needed)

Hourly rate: $28 to $35

Job Overview

Requirements & Qualifications
