An established industry player is seeking a regulatory legal expert to support health care services. This role involves analyzing and advising on state and federal laws, particularly in telehealth. You'll collaborate with various business units to ensure compliance and provide actionable legal advice. Incumbent will be responsible for providing regulatory legal support to enterprise entities offering health care services directly to patients. Legal support includes reviewing, analyzing and preparing summaries for new and existing state and federal provider laws, responding to regulatory inquiries, and reviewing external communications. This position requires a general working knowledge of laws affecting health care providers, such as provider enterprises, corporate practice of medicine, fee splitting, compensation, licensing, Medicare enrollment, anti-kickback/FWA, privacy, friendly PC model, scopes of practice, physician dispensing, hazardous waste handling and disposal, disease reporting, clinical lab waivers, radiology exposure limits, and consent. Among the topics listed above, expert-level knowledge and working experience in counseling on virtual health services is required.
