Joseph’s Classic Market seeks a detail-oriented Seafood Associate to assist customers, maintain fresh, well-presented displays, and handle seafood preparation per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions.
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks.
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness.
• Package, label, and price self-service items accurately.
• Cut and prepare seafood products according to company standards.
• Clean and maintain scales, cutting areas, and prep stations.
• Operate department equipment including knives, steamers, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.

Physical & Work Environment

A Seafood Associate works primarily in the Seafood department. This role involves walking and standing for extended periods, lifting and moving products weighing up to 80 pounds, and working in a fast‑paced retail environment. Frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members is an essential part of the role.
