Joseph’s Classic Market seeks a detail-oriented Seafood Associate to assist customers, maintain fresh, well-presented displays, and handle seafood preparation per company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior seafood, grocery, or food service preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Team player with a service-oriented attitude.
• A passion for serving people.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions.
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks.
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness.
• Package, label, and price self-service items accurately.
• Cut and prepare seafood products according to company standards.
• Clean and maintain scales, cutting areas, and prep stations.
• Operate department equipment including knives, steamers, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
