Job summary

Catalent in San Diego, CA is seeking an Associate Scientist, Product Development to support early-stage formulation and analytical work for preclinical and clinical drug products. You will perform supervised formulation tasks, maintain records, and ensure SOP/compliance, building a solid foundation in pharmaceutical development.

The role is a 100% onsite, Monday–Friday schedule (8 AM–4:30 PM). Candidates should have a bachelor's in a physical/chemical/biological or pharmaceutical science and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical, chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science required.
• On average 8-hour day, the ability to walk, sit and stand, lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formulation development and characterization activities under supervision.
• Prepare reports, summaries, protocols, batch records, and quantitative analyses.
• Maintain clear and accurate records in laboratory notebooks and perform secondary review for accuracy and compliance.
