Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Scientist 1, Analytical Development in San Diego, CA. The role involves developing and qualifying analytical methods for APIs and intermediates, performing and training others on analytical techniques, and communicating project progress to cross-functional teams and clients.

You will work in a GMP environment with a focus on analytical excellence, contributing to high-quality medicines for patients. The position is onsite, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical, chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science.
• 1+ years of experience in analytical development; Master's degree with experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and train others on analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV/Vis, DSC, TGA.
• Develop and qualify analytical test methods for APIs, intermediates and final drug products.
• Execute excipient compatibility and forced degradation studies under supervision.
• Interpret data and communicate project progress to cross-functional teams and clients.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure GMP compliance.
