Job summary

Catalent in San Diego, CA is seeking a Scientist 1, Analytical Development who will design and perform analytical experiments, qualification studies, and method transfer activities with autonomy. Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a physical, chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in analytical development.
• Master’s degree with experience in analytical development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and train others on analytical techniques listed (balances, pH meters, HPLC/UPLC, UV/Vis, GC, DSC, TGA, PXRD, SEM).
• Develop cleaning verification methods and execute studies under supervision.
• Interpret data, maintain lab records, and communicate progress to cross-functional teams and clients.
