IDEXX Laboratories, Inc is seeking multiple Associate Scientists for the Assay Design & Development group in Maine. The role focuses on designing, developing, and validating new reagents and products, with collaboration across R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing.

You’ll perform experiments, analyze data, and contribute to technology transfer while maintaining rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology with 3–5 years of lab

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; 3–5 years of lab experience preferred.
• Experience with PCR reagents, oligos, plasmids, enzymes or molecular diagnostics preferred.
• Hands-on ELISA and immunoassay technique experience preferred.
• Strong bench skills, data interpretation, and ability to design/execute experiments.

Aufgaben

• Independently design, execute, troubleshoot multi-variable lab experiments and communicate findings.
• Perform lab testing, characterization, and validation of reagents and final products.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations based on results.
• Prepare solutions/reagents and maintain electronic lab notebooks and reports.
• Present results to cross-functional teams and support technology transfer activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
