Neomorph, Inc. is seeking an experienced associate scientist to advance drug discovery programs, leveraging BSL2/BSL2+ practices, molecular and cell biology, and data-driven decision making.

You will profile lead compounds in relevant cellular models and contribute to both target identification and validation while enabling project teams with robust data packages. Qualifications

• MS with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency with routine cell and molecular biology techniques including tissue culture, immunofluorescence, qRT-PCR, western blotting, and ELISA.
• Proficiency with BSL2/BSL2+ practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with cell-based assay development, optimization, data analysis, and troubleshooting, including plate-based high-throughput readouts (e.g., luminescence, fluorescence).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Desire and capacity to participate in a dynamic and fast-paced research setting.
• Self-motivation and flexibility, with desire and capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Profile the biological activities of lead compounds in relevant cellular models/assays.
• Assess glue degrader mechanism of action using established assays.
• Elucidate biological mechanisms of action that confer pharmacodynamic effects of lead compounds.
• Delineate mechanisms of sensitivity and resistance using chemical and genetic approaches to define desired compound profiles.
• Support molecular and cell biology platforms for target identification and validation through plasmid cloning and cell line engineering.
• Analyze and document experimental results using Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism, and other applicable data systems.
• Communicate results and solicit effective input and feedback in a variety of internal settings.
