Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group seeks a skilled scientist to design, execute, and analyze cell-based assays and high-throughput screening workflows, advancing genomic engineering platforms. The role requires strong technical and data analysis skills and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

You will design and implement assays, develop screening campaigns, troubleshoot protocols, and communicate results clearly to scientific colleagues, aiding progression of optimized candidates into development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience in high-throughput cell-based screening, preferably with primary T cells, hepatocytes, and cancer cell lines.
  • Hands-on expertise with gene editing technologies (CRISPR nucleases, recombinases, base editors, or transcriptional effectors).
  • Familiarity with laboratory automation platforms for cell-based screening workflows.
  • Proficiency in nucleic acid QC methods such as TapeStation, Qubit, NanoDrop, and qPCR.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently generate precise, reproducible data and conduct rigorous quantitative analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing complex datasets and multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cell-based assays and screening workflows to support platform and program goals, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Develop and execute high-throughput arrayed and pooled screening campaigns with a focus on rigor and reproducibility.
  • Troubleshoot experimental protocols, analyze data, and convert findings into actionable scientific insights.
  • Maintain comprehensive laboratory records and effectively communicate results to scientific colleagues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the progression of optimized candidates into further development stages.
  • Utilize gene editing technologies, such as CRISPR nucleases, recombinases, base editors, or transcriptional effectors, in experimental workflows.
  • Apply laboratory automation platforms and nucleic acid quality control methods, including TapeStation, Qubit, NanoDrop, and qPCR.
  • Manage complex datasets, prioritize overlapping projects, and present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
