Job summary

Neomorph is seeking a Scientist to join our Lead Discovery team focused on cell-based high-throughput screening. The role can be filled at Scientist I or II level based on qualifications and independence.

You will contribute to small-molecule drug discovery by developing, executing, and analyzing robust cell-based assays in a fast-paced biotech environment. Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing assays for HTS, maintaining mammalian cell lines, applying automation and QC, and

Qualifications

• Degree in biology or related field with relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on mammalian cell culture and HTS operation experience.
• Experience with quantitative cell-based assays and readouts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize cell-based assays for HTS campaigns.
• Culture, maintain, and bank mammalian cell lines.
• Apply miniaturization, automation, and QC for reliable data.
• Collaborate with biology, chemistry, automation, and data teams.
• Troubleshoot assay performance and variability sources.
• Analyze and communicate screening results in reports and meetings.
• Document work in electronic lab notebooks and systems.
• Support assay transfer and implementation on automated HTS platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
