Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field sales professional to assist Sales Representatives in marketing, promotion and sales of VTE products. After training, you will tailor messages to customers, advise on product selection, and answer questions about functionality, distinguishing from competitors.

You will direct product evaluations in OR and office settings, support trade shows, and keep the regional manager informed.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device sales or field sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educates doctors, nurses, and staff on proper use and maintenance of Stryker PV products and updates.
• Tailors Stryker PV’s promotional message after training to fit customer needs and answers questions about product functionality.
• Directs product evaluations in OR and office settings.
• May assist in preparing and operating trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings.
• Keeps regional manager informed of territory progress.
• Solves product problems for customers quickly.
• Manages and maintains a sample inventory of products.
• Adheres to OR and OSHA guidelines when conducting product evaluations.
• Follows GMP policies and FDA procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists Sales Representatives in the marketing, promotion and sales of VTE products.
• Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker PV products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
• Following extensive product training, the employee must be able to tailor Stryker PV’s promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality and distinguish products from those of Stryker’s competitors.
• Directs product evaluations in OR and office settings.
• May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.
• Keeps regional manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis.
• Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion.
• Managing and maintaining a sample inventory of products.
• Must understand and adhere to all OR and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation.
• Must adhere rigidly to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Base/Draw + commission: $90k base salary and may be eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits.
