Job summary

Epirus is seeking an Associate Test Engineer, Electromagnetic Laboratory to join our test engineering team. You will develop and execute RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC tests, helping clients troubleshoot in real time.

The ideal candidate blends deep electromagnetic testing expertise with strong project management and client communication. You will interface with the larger organization to refine methods and maintain lab assets, ensuring compliance reports and certificates are delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience (BS) or 0-1 years (MS) in Test Engineering.
• Familiar with electrical test and measurement equipment: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Power Supplies.
• Theoretical understanding of RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC test and measurement principles.
• Understanding of MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC measurements per SOW and aerospace/defense standards.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, MATLAB) to optimize test time and data collection.
• Provide engineering support to clients to troubleshoot failures and produce compliance-ready reports.
• Interface with the larger test engineering group to refine methodology.
• Support calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for lab assets.
