Citizens JMP Securities’ equity research department covers 400+ public companies and provides institutional clients with comprehensive industry knowledge, unique insights, and actionable information. Our senior research analysts develop proprietary investment themes, anticipate secular and cyclical changes, and produce action-oriented reports. Citizens JMP focuses on four broad growth industries: Technology, Healthcare, Financial Services, and Real Estate, producing specialized equity research to help investors understand and profitably invest in complex growth stocks.
Citizens is seeking an Associate to join its Research Healthcare Group in New York, specifically within the Biotechnology and Biopharmaceuticals team. The Research Associate will be involved in all aspects of Citizens’ research activities, supporting the coverage of over 25 publicly traded Healthcare companies, engaging with public investors, presenting to the Citizens salesforce, and interacting with company executives, venture capitalists, and private equity firms.
The specific responsibilities of the Associate include, but are not limited to, writing research reports, financial analysis and modeling, conducting industry and company-specific research, and coordinating processes to generate actionable, proprietary Healthcare research.
The role requires studying for and passing the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, as well as the Series 86 and Series 87 exams.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 annually, with opportunities for additional incentive earnings. Actual pay depends on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
