WHO WE NEED:

Arootah seeks experienced Research Analysts to consult for our prestigious client base. As a consultant, you will work with Hedge Fund and Family Office clients to provide expert advice based on your research, analysis, and investment recommendations.

What You'll Do

• Provide research and analysis advice to clients, helping to develop realistic monthly action plans and identify obstacles.
• Break goals into actionable steps and devise plans, providing resources and implementing policies and controls.
• Review and analyze client tools to ensure industry best practices.
• Evaluate client progress using KPIs and scoring matrices.
• Maintain detailed records of consulting outcomes.

Who You Are

• Experience managing investment research processes, sourcing ideas, conducting analysis, and presenting data to build investment portfolios.
• Support investment teams in idea generation, security selection, and ongoing research.
• Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Build financial models, interpret research data, and make buy/sell recommendations.
• Monitor investment strategies and recommend adjustments.
• Focus on macroeconomic and industry conditions, company strategies, and financial trends.
• Develop research documents, investment memos, and prepare for meetings.
• Conduct interviews and attend industry conferences to stay current.
• Develop and execute investment programs to meet objectives.
• Streamline processes and automate recommendations.
• Provide in-depth analysis on investment and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related; CFA required.
• MBA or advanced degrees in relevant fields are a plus.
• 8+ years of research experience and 5-8 years of investment experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (Morningstar, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
