Job summary

Renesas is seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning engineer to analyze, root cause, and report on semiconductor products. You will learn basic failure analysis flows and gain experience with optical/semiconductor lab instruments used to support field customers and development teams.

As part of a collaborative engineering environment, you will work with technicians and experienced engineers on a variety of projects, applying hands-on analysis and clear communication to drive results.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning individual who will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and technicians on analyzing, root causing, and reporting on a variety of semiconductor products. As a new team member with our team, you can expect to learn the basic failure analysis flows and gain experience with the use of optical and acoustic microscope, 3D x-ray tomography, photon emission and thermal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and a variety of lab bench instrumentation. This equipment will be used to support both customers in the field as well as new product development teams.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be an initiative-taking team player who is able to take direction, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively.
