Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking an Associate Registrar for Academic Scheduling to provide high‑level operational and strategic thinking for all scheduling functions on the Bloomington campus.

As a member of the Leadership Team, the Associate Registrar oversees the full scheduling lifecycle, including development and publication of the Schedule of Classes, final exam scheduling, and year‑round scheduling operations, ensuring accuracy, policy alignment, and equitable use of instructional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, or related field.
• 2 years in student services, registrar services, higher education student affairs, or related field
• Masters degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides day‑to‑day operational management of registrar staff.
• Establishes short‑term operational objectives.
• Identifies operational issues and implements solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
• Analyzes performance of assigned staff and conducts reviews.
• Ensures adequate staffing and effective scheduling; participates in staffing decisions.
• Provides training to staff to improve registrar operations.
• Stays up-to-date on registrar standards, best practices, and technology.
