Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital seeks a Non-Registered Radiological Tech to perform limited radiological procedures and assist radiologists in exams and procedures to obtain diagnostic images.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a two‑year ARRT-certified program and must obtain WA X‑Ray Registration or Temporary Practice Permit upon hire, plus BLS certification. At least six months of radiography experience is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a two‑year ARRT-certified community college or vocational training program.
• Upon hire: Washington X‑Ray Technician Registration or Temporary Practice Permit.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Requires 6 months experience in radiography.

The Non-Registered Radiological Tech position performs limited (within scope of license) radiological procedures and assists the radiologists in exams and procedures to obtain a diagnosis that will provide the best possible care for the patient. It is preferred that the employee register and pass the ARRT examination within six months of graduation from a JCERT accredited x‑ray program.
