Job summary

The ideal candidate for Kavaliro's quality engineering role will demonstrate a strong understanding of Quality Engineering and QA principles, with hands‑on experience in manufacturing and quality systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement across ERP, QMS and EDMS environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, or related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Eng, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies including 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, CAPA, and other problem‑solving tools.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, inspection techniques, and process improvement methodologies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ERP, QMS, and EDMS preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, Internal Auditor certification preferred.
  • Prior auditing experience is required.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 17025 is a plus.
  • Strong technical and engineering aptitude with ability to learn/adapt quickly.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments with electrical/electromechanical/opto‑mechanical components is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Supply Chain).
  • Results‑oriented with ability to complete projects while maintaining high quality.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Windows and MS Office.

  • Support manufacturing environments involving electrical, electromechanical, and opto‑mechanical components and systems.
  • Contribute to problem solving and process improvements to maintain high quality standards.

Job description

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, including 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and other problem‑solving tools.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, inspection techniques, and process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and electronic document management systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, with Internal Auditor certification preferred.
  • Prior auditing experience is required.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 17025 standards is considered a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - 40.00 per hour
