Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking an Associate Quality Control Inspection Manager to lead the quality team at our San Antonio facility. The role reports to the Plant Quality Manager and oversees daily resources, manages quality deviations, and collaborates with TRATON sites on quality initiatives.

The position supports a new night shift (Mon-Thu 5:30 PM–4:00 AM) with a 10% differential and may require extended hours to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years quality inspection experience
• Master's degree with 2+ years quality inspection experience
• At least 6 years quality inspection experience

Position Overview

International is seeking an Associate Quality Control Inspection Manager to join our growing team at this facility!

The Associate Quality Control Inspection Manager reports to the Plant Quality Manager and manages day to day department resources and coordinates the management of quality deviations, quality system, quality related performance elements, and collaborates with other TRATON sites on all quality related elements.

As International Motors continues to grow in San Antonio, we are expanding our production operations with the introduction of a night production shift. The night shift is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with production planned to begin in early 2027. This is a salaried position supporting a manufacturing operation. While the primary schedule aligns with the designated production shift, employees are expected to provide operational support as needed to meet business objectives. This may require working outside normal production hours, including extended shifts, production startup activities, recovery efforts, and occasional weekend support based on operational requirements.

Shift Differential: 10% differential upon transitioning to Night Shift work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage/Ensure Quality resource deployment and requirements
• Drive problem solving activities across all lines and prodcuts
• Develop, manage and communicate relevant information and reports to management
• Driver customer feedack and CAR response
• Engage with TRATON facilities on assembly and machines subjects

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of quality inspection experience

OR

• Master's degree and at least 2 years of quality inspection experience

OR

• At least 6 years of quality inspection experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
