Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a QA/Quality Analyst to perform routine assignments within established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in a laboratory setting. You will review analytical data, prepare documentation, and support audits and investigations.

Responsibilities include ERP data verification, record keeping, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure data integrity and compliance. A bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Life/Physical Science required.
• 2+ years laboratory or quality review experience preferred.
• Knowledge in chemistry, math, and general science; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review stock suitability and secondary analytical data per QMS and guidelines.
• Verify ERP, sample-tracking, and metric entries; process and route samples and data.
• Interpret analytical results (titration, spectroscopy, chromatography) and perform unit conversions.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis, product specs, investigation records, and quality docs.
• Conduct investigations and support deviations, audits, and master-data issues.
• Create, review, update SOPs and train new hires; collaborate cross-functionally.

Your Role:

Typically performs routine assignments using existing procedures or even works autonomously within established procedures and practices that require knowledge of concepts and procedures within a job discipline or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process Review stock suitability and secondary analytical data in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS), product specifications, established data libraries, and applicable guidelines.Verify ERP, sample-tracking, and metric-system entries; process and route samples and analytical data accurately and maintain complete, compliant records.Interpret analytical results, including titration, spectroscopy, and chromatography; perform stoichiometry, unit conversions, and intermediate-level troubleshooting.Prepare controlled documents, including Certificates of Analysis, product specifications, investigation records, and other quality documentation.Conduct and support out-of-specification investigations, deviations, change requests, audits, and resolution of master-data or product issues.Create, review, and update SOPs; complete required training; train new hires and collaborate cross-functionally on procedures and operations.Identify, coordinate, and implement department-level quality, process, and safety improvements in partnership with management.Communicate operational status, risks, and deviations; support internal teams, customers, site visitors, and audits while prioritizing safe, timely work aligned with department and site objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or Other Life/Physical Science disciplines
• 2+ years laboratory, or quality review experience

Pay Range for this position: $25-$39 per hour. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
