Kutak Rock LLP seeks an associate attorney to join the Secondary Markets group within the Public Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing their knowledge and skills in a wide range of transactional matters in municipal, asset-backed, and corporate securities while working with experienced, nationally-recognized partners. Qualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in public finance, real estate, lending, corporate finance or other transactional areas are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Researching federal and state law, including federal and state securities and lending laws, the Internal Revenue Code, and local bond and real estate law
• Preparing and reviewing transaction documents, including trust indentures, loan agreements, financing agreements, swap documents and opinions
• Preparing and reviewing underwriting documents, including offering documents, purchase agreements and disclosure certificates
• Interacting and communicating with clients and other transaction parties

Status: Exempt

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 4:1, with supervisor approval
