Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a proposal writer to coordinate the RFP process and draft proposal-ready materials. You will work with a proposal writer or senior writer and collaborate across departments to ensure timely, accurate responses.

The role emphasizes creative business writing, effective communication, and strong project management. Remote work within the continental United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field OR 4 years of proposal development or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated creative and business writing skills.
• PC skills and experience in Microsoft products.
• Verbal and written communication skills to complete Requests for Proposals, coordinates activities with many departments, and incorporates layman's terms in the proposal.
• Demonstrated project management, organizing, planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position is responsible for initiating the writing and coordinating of the activities associated with the request for proposal (RFP) process ensuring the highest quality of service is provided while remaining consistent with the company's policies, procedures and philosophies. Participate in the activities involved in the resolution of issues associated with the RFP process ensuring follow-through to resolution. Coordinate projects with support from a proposal writer or senior proposal writer and with strict adherence to detailed customer specifications. Draft proposal-ready response materials to utilize as a reference tool to complete future proposals or internal requests.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field OR 4 years of proposal development or marketing experience.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience.

This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base Pay Range

$47,500.00 - $86,000.00
