SLS Consultants LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks an Associate Project Manager for Substations & Power Infrastructure to oversee the electrical infrastructure for hyperscale data center campuses. You will manage field execution, coordinate with utilities, and supervise subcontractors through energization.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with high‑voltage substations, relay protection, switchgear, transformers, and PMS, and can read one‑lines and construction documents.

Formación

• Experience constructing, commissioning, or managing high‑voltage substations.
• Strong understanding of relay protection systems and control schemes.
• Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, and Power Management Systems (PMS).
• Experience supporting utility, transmission, distribution, or mission‑critical projects.
• Ability to read electrical one‑lines, protection drawings, and construction documents.

Responsabilidades

• Support delivery of utility and campus substations serving hyperscale data center developments.
• Oversee field execution, contractor performance, and project progress through energization.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of transformers, switchgear, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Monitor relay protection, controls, and protection scheme implementation.
• Support commissioning activities for systems up to 345kV and medium‑voltage networks.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors, engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate schedule, quality, and construction risks.
• Ensure compliance with project safety and quality standards.

We are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager - Substations & Power Infrastructure in Tulsa, Oklahoma to join our growing Data Center team. This individual will play a critical role in delivering the electrical infrastructure that powers some of the largest hyperscale data center campuses in North America. We’re seeking someone with hands‑on experience building and commissioning substations who can oversee contractors, drive execution, and support projects from construction through energization. Experience with high‑voltage systems, relay protection schemes, switchgear, transformers, and Power Management Systems (PMS) is highly desirable.
