NIIC National Interstate Insurance Company is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join in Richfield, OH, with a hybrid work schedule. You will assist in building IT project plans, manage scope and budgets, and keep stakeholders informed on status and risks.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of project-management experience, familiarity with agile teams, and strong communication skills. Remote work is possible two to three days depending on needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, CS or related field.
• 1–3 years of related project-management experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies and stakeholder communication.

Core in‑office days are Tuesday and Wednesday but will be determined by business needs.Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesAssists in developing IT project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and promptly.Supports the identification and management of project risks and issues, assisting with developing risk mitigation strategiesand contingency plans.Collaborates with project team members to encourage positive action and accountability for their assigned tasks.Aids in ensuring projects are delivered with high quality and meet the company's standards and customer expectations.Tracks project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
