Job summary

ArchKey is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the Project Manager on a large complex project or several smaller ones in Ft. Wayne, IN or Toledo, OH. You will help manage design, budget, schedule, and staffing while coordinating with GCs, subs, and foremen.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process discipline, and safety compliance, with opportunities to develop PM skills in a dynamic, national specialty trades environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0–1 year of construction and/or project experience or knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubid a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external project members, including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents and Foremen.
• Assist the Project Manager in staffing approvals, including choice of superintendent, general foremen, and foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change orders.
• Assist in implementing/s interpreting safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met.
